Eligibility Criteria

1. Filipino Citizenship
Applicants must be Filipino citizens, dedicated to the cause of advancing their education.
2. Cebuana Lhuillier Affiliation
Candidates must have a connection to Cebuana Lhuillier, either as a client themselves or as the child, sibling, or spouse of a client. This affiliation should be substantiated with proof of pawning, Pera Padala, or CL Microsavings transactions.
3. CLFI Loyalty
Applicants are required to have both a Cebuana Lhuillier Microsavings account and a Cebuana Lhuillier 24K Loyalty card.
4. Field of Study
CLFI Scholarship recipients must be enrolled in a State University or College, pursuing an undergraduate program in the following areas of study:
- Accountancy or Finance Management courses
- Business courses
- Information Technology/Computer Science courses
- Hotel & Restaurant Management/Hospitality Management courses
- Engineering courses (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, and Industrial)
- Architecture
5. Financial Status
Applicants’ annual family income should not exceed Php 500,000.

1. What Levels of Education Does CLFI Scholarship Sponsor?
The CLFI Nationwide Scholarship Program extends its support to economically challenged students nationwide, spanning from elementary to college education, specifically for the first to fourth years of college. This program is open to all clients of Cebuana Lhuillier with the 24K Loyalty Card.
2. What Are the Qualifications for Admission?
To qualify for the CLFI scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Cebuana Lhuillier client with a 24K Loyalty Card.
- Provide proof of the total family income.
- Maintain a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 85% or its equivalent from the last semester/school attended, without any failing marks in any subject.
- Furnish a Certificate of Good Moral Character duly signed by an official from the last school attended.
- Present the current enrollment or registration form for the First Semester SY 2024-2025.
- Understand the university/college’s grading system in percentage.

3. Where Can Scholars Enroll?
Qualified CL scholars can enroll in any State university or College offering the aforementioned supported courses.
4. How Does the Screening Process Work?

Once received, CLFI will review the applications and directly notify the candidates regarding the results and next steps for assessment.
5. How Many Scholarships Are Awarded Each Year?
The number of scholarship slots available may vary each year and will be announced on the CLFI website.
6. Are Scholars Required to Maintain Specific Grades?
All scholars are expected to maintain a general weighted average of at least 85% every semester, without any failing grades in any subject or an incomplete subject.
7. What Expenses Does CLFI Scholarship Cover?
CLFI offers a fixed stipend amount to cover tuition fees and other school-related and living expenses.
8. Are Supplementary Training Programs Available?
CLFI organizes annual scholar assemblies and learning sessions conducted by highly qualified resource persons or subject matter experts. Additionally, outreach programs are conducted with scholars to foster a spirit of volunteerism.
9. Are Scholars Guaranteed Employment with PJL Group of Companies after Graduation?
CLFI enforces an Education to Employment (E2E) provision in its Scholarship Agreement, waiving the PJLI pre-employment test for scholars graduating with Latin honors or maintaining a general weighted average of 90% or equivalent. Other scholars will need to undergo the standard employment process.
