The GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship Program aims to prepare and empower aspiring educators to become proficient teachers and champions of STEM education. The GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship offers an annual fixed grant of Php65,000 for scholars in state universities and Php85,000 for scholars in private universities. This financial assistance enables students to pursue their education and excel in their chosen fields.

Exciting news! GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship is also accepting applications for the GBF TeachSTEM Master’s Degree Scholarship. This year, a total of 142 slots are available for these esteemed scholarships designed specifically for educators.

Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for the GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be an incoming or ongoing college student pursuing a degree in Education with a specialization in STEM-related fields, Technical Vocational Programs, or General Education.
- Must be enrolled or intend to enroll in a Teacher Education Institution (TEI) with a LET (Licensure Examination for Teachers) performance above the national average.
- Must have no failed, dropped, or incomplete grades in the previous academic year. If applying as a senior high school student, academic records from grades 11 and 12 will be evaluated.
- Must have a general weighted average of at least eighty-five percent (85%) or its equivalent from the previous academic year. For senior high school students, the GWA from grade 11 will be considered.
- Must demonstrate involvement in extracurricular or community activities.
- Must be willing to teach in a public school within their community upon graduation.
- Must have good moral standing and no existing disciplinary cases.
- Must require financial support to complete their studies.
- Preferably, not a recipient of other scholarships.
- Must be in good health.
Documentary Requirements:
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- Fully accomplished application form
- Proof of Enrollment/Admission:
- Incoming college students: Proof of Admission and Letter of Intent to Enroll
- Ongoing college students: Certificate of Registration from the current semester or Letter of Intent to Enroll in the next semester
- Certified True Copy of Grades:
- Incoming college students: Grades 11 and 12 (available quarters) academic records
- Ongoing college students: 2 most recent consecutive semesters’ grades
- Official Grading System of the University or School
- Portfolio showcasing community involvement and its impact
- Certificate of Good Moral Character from the current year
- Proof of household income:
- For employed parents/guardians: Certificate of Employment with position and salary, latest ITR, or BIR 2316
- For unemployed parents/guardians: BIR Tax exemption certificate obtained from LGU
- Proof of residence:
- Photo of residence
- Proof of Billing or Barangay Certificate
- 2×2 ID Picture on a white background
